Description

The Clutch Masters FX400 clutch kit (p/n 17400-HDCL-D) is designed for VW Golf GTI MK7 and Golf R with 6-speed manual transmissions. It features a Hi-Leverage™ pressure plate with a full ceramic (HDCL) dampened disc. The full ceramic design provides quick engagement with minimal chatter thanks to the marcel cushion between the linings, making it more street-friendly than the 6-puck paddle design. Outstanding holding capacity and rapid heat dissipation. Important: this dampened disc must be used with a single mass flywheel only (not dual mass). Note: hydraulic slave cylinder sold separately. Kit includes disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), and alignment tool.
