H&R Sport Springs (ref. 50416-2) are designed for the Mini Cooper S (R53 chassis) with L4 1.6L Supercharged engine, for vehicles produced after March 1, 2002. Manufactured from special 54SiCr6 spring steel at H&R's ISO 9001 certified facility in Germany, these springs lower the vehicle's center of gravity and reduce body roll in corners for improved handling. The progressive design ensures a balance between daily driving comfort and the sport performance characteristic of the Cooper S. The reduced fender-to-tire gap provides a more aggressive look.
