The FOX Performance Series 2.5 Coil-Over IFP Shock (ref. 987-02-005) is engineered for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. Using race-proven damping control technology, it delivers superior on-road comfort and predictable off-road handling even in the toughest conditions. The 2.5 in 6061-T6 impact-extruded aluminum body provides strength with reduced weight and excellent corrosion resistance, while the 5/8 in hard chrome shaft ensures durability. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design eliminates cavitation for consistent hydraulic response. Fully rebuildable and re-tunable, this shock accommodates 0–2 in of lift (Non-TB/AT4 models).
