B&M – Cast Aluminum Differential Cover

Description

The B&M Differential Cover (part #40297) is designed for the Ford 8.8 in. differential. Made from A356.0-T6 aluminum (10-bolt), it reinforces the differential by preventing case distortion and ring gear and bearing cap deflection. Increased fluid capacity and superior heat dissipation extend the life of ring and pinion gears. Includes an engraved B&M logo, magnetic drain plug to catch ferrous particles, load bolts and nuts, and installation instructions. Fits Ford Explorer Sport, F-150, and Mustang. Thickness: 3.320 in.
