Description

The MSD Pro-Billet Distributor (PN 83811) is a direct replacement for the OEM GM LT1 Optispark. The housing is machined from billet aluminum for maximum precision and durability. It features an advanced optical encoder pick-up, more reliable than the OEM sensor, stable through 10,000 RPM. The rotor is positively indexed to the shaft via a large ball bearing assembly, eliminating slippage. A timing adjustment screw allows ignition timing to be tweaked up to ±5 degrees. Supplied complete with a heavy-duty LT1 cap, rotor, and all required installation components. Fresh air vent and extra-thick cap mounting surface eliminate leaks.
