Description

The CTS Turbo CTS-EXH-DP-0030-CAT high-flow cat downpipes are engineered for the Mercedes-Benz W205 C63 AMG and C63S AMG equipped with the M177 V8 4.0L twin-turbocharged engine. These downpipes replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters with high-performance 200-cell catalysts, delivering superior flow while retaining emissions filtering capability. Manufactured from CAST T304 stainless steel, hand TIG welded and back-purged for long-term reliability. Integrated heat shielding retains heat within the exhaust stream and protects the engine bay from excessive temperatures. Direct bolt-on installation reusing OEM mounting points. These downpipes deliver faster turbo spool, improved throttle response, and a louder, deeper exhaust tone. Note: downpipe-specific Stage 2 tuning is required to remove the check engine light.
