Description

The CTS Turbo CTS-EXH-DP-0055 3.5-inch stainless steel race downpipe is designed specifically for the EVO4 front-wheel-drive (FWD) platform: VW GTI MK8 and Audi A3 8Y FWD with Garrett turbocharger. The factory downpipe is extremely restrictive and severely limits exhaust gas flow, reducing power especially on tuned vehicles. The 3.5-inch cast stainless steel flange is paired with a CNC mandrel bent 3-inch tube for precision fabrication. The downpipe is 100% TIG welded with a removable reducer for compatibility with the factory exhaust and stainless steel clamps included. Factory mounting location is retained. Even paired with the stock exhaust, the sound is excellent with no annoying drone. Note: not compatible with OPF/GPF equipped vehicles. Stage 2 tune is required to remove the CEL. Fitment: VW GTI MK8 & Audi A3 8Y FWD (see Application Section).
