CTS Turbo – EVO4 Race Downpipe VW Golf R MK8 / Audi S3 8Y AWD

Description

The CTS Turbo CTS-EXH-DP-0056 3.5-inch stainless steel race downpipe is designed for the EVO4 all-wheel-drive (AWD) platform: VW Golf R MK8 and Audi S3 8Y with Continental turbocharger. The factory downpipe severely restricts exhaust gas flow and negatively impacts power output, especially on tuned vehicles. The 3.5-inch cast stainless steel flange is paired with a CNC mandrel bent 3-inch tube for precision fabrication. The downpipe is 100% TIG welded with a removable reducer for OEM exhaust compatibility and stainless steel clamps included. Factory mounting locations are retained. Even with the stock exhaust, the sound is excellent with no annoying drone. Note: not compatible with OPF/GPF equipped vehicles. Stage 2 tune required to remove CEL. Fitment: VW Golf R MK8 & Audi S3 8Y AWD (see Application Section).
