Description

The MBRP GM8424 is a direct replacement Turbo Downpipe designed for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the V8 6.6L Turbo Diesel Duramax engine (LLY, LBZ, or LMM). This component replaces the restrictive factory OEM downpipe, which is often overlooked during performance upgrades. The MBRP GM8424 mounts between the factory turbo and the existing exhaust system. It features full 16-gauge mandrel bent aluminized steel tubing for maximum exhaust flow, along with an extremely durable high-temperature ceramic coating. The ceramic coating protects the component and deepens the sound of the V8 diesel engine. This downpipe helps lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), improves fuel economy, and provides quicker throttle response. Diameter is 3 inches. Compatible with Silverado 2500 HD, 3500 HD, Sierra 2500 HD, and 3500 HD models (see Application Section). Backed by a limited 3-year warranty.
