Description

The Powermaster PowerMax Starter (PN 9162) features an original OE look with a steel gear insert to cover both carbureted and EFI engines. Rated at 1.4kW / 1.8HP, it supports up to 10:1 compression with 160 ft-lbs of cranking torque and a 4.25:1 gear reduction. Compatible with Ford Explorer and Mustang vehicles equipped with 4.9L and 5.8L engines. Every starter is individually dyno tested and comes with a proof-of-performance guarantee. Made in USA.
