Description

The Banks Power Banks Brake® Exhaust Brake (P/N 55449) is designed for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD equipped with the V8 6.6L Turbo Diesel LMM engine. Built for diesels that handle heavy loads or descend steep grades, Banks Brake creates and uses engine backpressure to safely slow the truck, cutting downhill speed up to 52 percent without using the wheel brakes. The system includes a manual switch and an exclusive computerized brake controller providing maintenance-free operation. It also improves fuel mileage, helps eliminate turbo lag, and increases engine power when not in use (See Application Section).
