Description

The EXEDY FWGM101 flywheel is an original-equipment-quality replacement for GM L6 and V8 engines with manual transmission. Built from hardened, resurfaceable steel, it restores a fresh friction surface and balance within factory tolerances, eliminating the hot spots, heat checking and vibration that a worn flywheel transmits into the driveline.

Bedding a new disc against a degraded surface is a common cause of chatter and premature slipping; replacing the flywheel alongside the clutch avoids pulling the transmission a second time. Fits the Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette and Monte Carlo as well as the Pontiac Firebird and GTO L6/V8.
