EXEDY – Racing Lightweight Flywheel

Description

The EXEDY Racing Lightweight Flywheel (ref. ZF505A) combines low weight, low inertia, and high thermal capacity for the Mazda Miata 1.6L and 1.8L (See Application Section). Made from solid one-piece billet or forged chromoly steel, it is designed to reduce inertia and improve engine response. The ring gear teeth are integrated directly onto the flywheel — unlike aluminum flywheels where the ring gear is pressed on and may separate. Special airflow design features improve clutch cooling. Tested to 15,000–18,000 RPM. SFI 1.1 certified. Suitable for street, drag, autocross, and rally use.
