EXEDY – Racing Lightweight Flywheel

Description

The EXEDY TF02 racing flywheel is machined from billet/forged chromoly steel, a far stronger material than the factory cast iron, for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 2.0L. Reduced mass lowers rotating inertia, so the engine picks up and drops revs faster, making heel-toe downshifts easier and shifts crisper — a gain that is especially noticeable on a moderate-torque engine.

The high thermal capacity of chromoly limits hot spots and heat checking after repeated launches. SFI 1.1 certified, this flywheel meets the requirements of most sanctioning bodies. EXEDY is a globally recognized original equipment supplier.
