EXEDY – Racing Lightweight Flywheel

Description

The EXEDY FF02 racing flywheel is machined from chromoly steel, a far stronger material than the factory cast iron, for naturally aspirated 2.5L to 3.0L boxer engines. Reduced mass lowers rotating inertia, so the engine picks up and drops revs much faster, making heel-toe downshifts easier and shifts crisper.

This is a particularly noticeable change on a naturally aspirated boxer, where throttle response matters more than raw torque. The trade-off is that hill starts require a little more attention. SFI 1.1 certified. Fits the Saab 9-2X as well as the Subaru Baja, Forester, Impreza and Legacy.
