Description

The EXEDY ZF501A racing flywheel is designed for light to moderately tuned street and racing cars used for drag racing, autocross, rally events or simply the street. Reduced mass lowers rotating inertia, so the engine picks up and drops revs much faster, making heel-toe downshifts easier and shifts crisper.

On a small four-cylinder like the one in the Mazda 3, Mazda 5 and MX-5 Miata, that gain in response is immediately noticeable. The trade-off is that hill starts require a little more attention. EXEDY is a globally recognized original equipment supplier of clutches and flywheels.
