Description

The EXEDY EF502A racing flywheel is machined from chromoly steel, a far stronger material than the factory cast iron, for Ford Mustang V8 4.6L and 5.0L engines. Reduced mass lowers rotating inertia, so the engine picks up and drops revs faster, making shifts crisper and heel-toe downshifts easier.

One critical point to verify before ordering: this part number is built for an 8-bolt flange; a 6-bolt crankshaft requires a different unit. SFI 1.1 certified, this flywheel meets the requirements of most drag racing sanctioning bodies. EXEDY is a globally recognized original equipment supplier.
