Description

The AutoMeter 1815 fuel level gauge is an essential 2 1/16-inch instrument in the Antique Beige style, featuring a resistance range of 0 ohms empty to 90 ohms full, compatible with most Chevrolet/GM senders. AutoMeter offers five different resistance configurations to match your existing fuel sending unit: 0-90Ω (GM mid-60s to mid-90s), 0-30Ω (early GM), 73-10Ω (Ford and Chrysler), 16-158Ω (later model Fords) and 240-33Ω (aftermarket senders). The patented Air-Core meter movement receives extra dampening to combat the effects of fuel slosh in non-baffled tanks. Traditional incandescent lighting illuminates around the perimeter of the dial. The kit includes a bulb and socket assembly, red and green bulb covers, mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions.
