Cometic – Cylinder Head Gasket
Description
The Cometic cylinder head gasket (ref. C5247-027) is manufactured using MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) technology for the Chevrolet Gen-1 Small Block V8 engine. Featuring a 4.125" round bore, 0.027" compressed thickness, and integrated steam holes, this gasket is compatible with 18° and 23° cylinder heads. The steam holes allow coolant circulation between the block and head, preventing hot spots and improving engine cooling efficiency.
