Description

The HKS SMG/K head gasket kit (23009-AN010) is designed for the VR38DETT engine in the Nissan GT-R R35. This kit includes both the head gasket and the exhaust manifold gasket. The 0.8mm thickness and same bore diameter as the stock gasket maintain a compression ratio of 9.0 (identical to factory). The bore seal structure has been redesigned to improve contact surface pressure by 30% without upgrading the head bolt, validated in-house at 900PS. The exhaust manifold gasket uses a 4-layer seal bead design (t=0.8mm) vs the factory 3-layer design (t=0.6mm). Best used with the HKS GT800 Package.
