Description

The CORSA Performance #AC010 Exhaust Heat Shield is designed specifically for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 and Stingray equipped with the V8 6.2L engine. The C8 Corvette's mid-engine configuration generates an abundance of heat in the exhaust cavity located behind the rear wheel. While Chevrolet added a factory aluminum reflective substrate heat shield, it is a complete eye sore. This CORSA black coated aluminum shield with a 1/8 in. composite glass core eliminates the visual problem while adding an extra layer of protection. Tested to withstand temperatures up to 1,750°F, it is pre-shaped and flexible to easily fit the C8 rear tire cavity. Installation is simple: peel and stick self-adhesive, no tools required. The adhesive is not affected by temperature, wind or water. Compatible with any branded exhaust including stock. Sold as a pair.
