The AutoMeter RPM Signal Adapter (part 9112) allows you to easily adapt AutoMeter tachometers and shift lights, as well as many other aftermarket RPM-based devices, to alternator-equipped diesel or non-standard ignition gasoline engines. A sensor mounted to the alternator casing, combined with a one-time calibration via push button interface, synchronizes the alternator signal with engine crank RPM. Perfect for diesel performance applications, engine swaps, and factory instrument upgrades. Pair it with AutoMeter low-rev tachometer models for a complete diesel-specific gauge installation.
