Description

The AutoMeter BEX-5000 battery extender (part BEX-5000) charges and maintains lead-acid batteries (Flooded, AGM, and Gel Cell) at 5 A across 6, 8, 12, and 16 V systems, making it versatile for race, collector, and high-performance vehicles. The fully automatic smart charging process includes four sequential stages: Desulfation, Bulk, Absorption, and Maintain, with overcharge impossible. Up to 6 devices can be connected simultaneously. Colour-coded LED indicators show the current charge stage. CEC and UL 1236 compliant, for indoor and outdoor use. 3-year warranty.
