Description

The BBK Performance Shorty Tuned Length exhaust header kit (SKU 4005) is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for GM trucks and SUVs equipped with the V8 4.8L and 5.3L engines. Manufactured with 1.75 in. CNC mandrel-bent 16-gauge steel tubing, they deliver unrestricted exhaust flow for a 10-15 horsepower increase and improved torque over factory OEM manifolds. The Tuned Length design generates optimized scavenging pulses for better combustion and fuel economy. Precision laser-cut 3/8 in. one-piece flanges ensure a leak-free seal, and every header is robotically welded and pressure tested. The Titanium ceramic finish provides excellent heat resistance and durability. New gaskets and hardware included.
