Hooker Headers – Exhaust Header
Description
The Hooker Competition Shorty header (SKU 2466HKR) is designed for Chevrolet Camaro and Monte Carlo models with Chevy Small Block 283-400 engines. Made from T304 stainless steel with 16-gauge mandrel-bent tubing for maximum exhaust flow. The 5/16 in. machined flanges ensure a perfect seal. Heat-cured, high-heat-resistant black paint finish. Maximum ground clearance design for vehicles lowered up to 4 in. Works with factory power steering, power brakes and A/C. All hardware included.

Note 1: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers will damage the coating and void all warranties. Header wraps can cause tube cracks/rust; Hooker does not recommend their use.
Note 2: Maximum ground clearance design for vehicles lowered up to 4 in. Modification required to retain catalytic converter. Will not fit with close ratio steering boxes, angle plug or raised port heads. Same warnings as Note 1.
