The Hedman short-tube headers (SKU 26164) are crafted from quality mild steel and finished with the polished HTC Silver Ceramic-Metallic coating, delivering superior heat protection and a clean look. The stepped short-tube design (1-5/8 in. x 1-3/4 in., 16-gauge) promotes good low-end power while ensuring optimal ground clearance and OEM component compatibility. These classic 3-bolt gasket-style header collectors include 2-1/2 in. reducers (exhaust adapters), gaskets, and all required mounting hardware. Each pair is hand-assembled in the USA and is designed specifically for the Pontiac Firebird with Pontiac 326-455 engines, compatible with power steering and automatic column or floor transmissions. For off-road use only on 1975 and later models.
