Description

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, including long-tube headers for Pontiac models for decades. These long-tube headers (SKU 28140) are made from smooth-flowing, CNC mandrel-bent mild steel tubes, hand-welded to ensure consistent fitment from one pair to the next. The long-tube design maximizes horsepower and torque by providing ample exhaust flow for Pontiac 326-455 engines. Hedman's unique ball and socket gasketless collector design allows bolt-on installation even with slight exhaust system misalignment. These headers are uncoated and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that burns off at normal operating temperatures. Depending on vehicle configuration, oil filter relocation may be required. Each set includes gaskets, flange bolts, collector bolts, ball and socket reducers, and all necessary hardware. Compatible with power steering and automatic transmission.
