Description

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing high-performance headers in the USA since 1954. The uncoated long-tube headers (SKU 35270) are designed specifically for the Pontiac Firebird with Pontiac 326-455 V8 engines. Crafted from CNC mandrel-bent mild steel (16-gauge) and hand-welded, their 1-3/4 in. primary tubes deliver optimal exhaust flow to maximize top-end horsepower and torque. Hedman's unique ball and socket gasketless collector design allows bolt-on installation even with slight misalignment. These headers are uncoated and ship with a temporary black paint that burns off at normal operating temperatures. Note: not compatible with Ram Air III or IV style cylinder heads. Each pair includes gaskets, bolts, 2-1/2 in. ball & socket reducers, and all necessary hardware. Compatible with power steering, automatic floor, and manual floor transmissions. Off-road use only on 1975+ models.
