Description

Hedman Hedders headers (SKU 66609) are 1-5/8 in. mid-length headers in mild steel with HTC SILVER (polished) ceramic-metallic coating, designed for Chevrolet Camaro 1967-1981 and Monte Carlo 1970-1987 (and other similar GM vehicles) equipped with SB Chevy 283-400 (Gen 1) with D-Port cylinder heads. The 3 in. ball & socket collector requires no gasket and better manages misalignment. The 1-5/8 in. (16g) D-port tubes provide excellent exhaust flow tailored for D-Port heads. The mid-length design delivers more low and mid-range power than cast manifolds, with better clearance than long tube headers. Power steering and automatic transmission compatible. Sold as a pair with all required hardware and reducers. Not legal for street use on 1975 and newer models; off-road use only. Made in the USA since 1954 by Hedman Hedders.
