Hedman Hedders headers (SKU 68140) are 1-3/4 in. mid-length LS Swap headers in uncoated mild steel (Standard-Duty), designed for 1968-1972 GM A-Body vehicles (Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo) and Pontiac GTO equipped with an automatic transmission. Specifically designed for LS engine swap applications, these ELITE-flange round-port headers deliver more low and mid-range power than cast manifolds, with better ground clearance and component compatibility than long-tube headers. The 3 in. ball & socket collector (gasketless) eases installation. Uncoated finish ships with temporary paint. Installation requires Trans-Dapt Engine Swap Mount Kit 4600 (TH350/700R4) or 4601 (4L60/70E). Automatic transmission only. Air conditioning and power steering compatible. Made in the USA since 1954 by Hedman Hedders.
