Hedman Hedders headers (SKU 68198) are ELITE FULL LENGTH 1-3/4 in. long-tube headers in heavy-duty mild steel with matte silver ceramic-metallic coating, designed for 1964-1977 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino, and 1967-1969 Camaro equipped with the big block (BB) 396-502. Non-emissions model. The ELITE construction features thick 3/8 in. flanges and 14g primary tubes with square ports, ideal for high-performance engines and tow vehicles that produce higher exhaust temperatures. The MATTE-SILVER ceramic-metallic coating keeps more heat in the tubes and lowers underhood temperatures. The 3 in. ball & socket collector (gasketless) simplifies installation. All automatic and manual transmissions compatible. Note: No power steering for Camaro/Nova. Off-road use only on 1975+ models. Made in the USA since 1954 by Hedman Hedders.
