Description

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing high-performance exhaust headers in the USA since 1954. These full-length long-tube 1-5/8 in. ELITE HD Silver headers (SKU 68298) belong to Hedman's ELITE line, designed for high-performance engines and tow vehicles. The heavy-duty 3/8 in. flanges and 14-gauge primary tubes offer substantially stronger construction than standard models. The MATTE SILVER ceramic-metallic coating resists corrosion, retains heat in the tubes, and reduces underhood temperatures, withstanding up to 1400°F with a 5-year factory warranty on the coating. Designed for Chevrolet A-Body vehicles equipped with a SB 283-400 engine. The gasketless ball and socket collector design allows bolt-on installation even with slight misalignment. Each set includes gaskets, bolts, and ball and socket reducers. Without A.I.R. and without EGR.
