Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing high-performance exhaust headers in the USA since 1954. These full-length long-tube 1-5/8 in. headers (SKU 68300) are specifically designed for the Chevrolet Corvette equipped with a Small Block 283-400 engine. Built from mild steel with smooth-flowing CNC mandrel-bent tubes, hand-welded for consistency, they ensure optimal exhaust scavenging to maximize horsepower and torque. The gasketless ball and socket collector design allows bolt-on installation even with slight exhaust system misalignment. These headers ship uncoated with a temporary black paint. Each set includes gaskets, flange and collector bolts, and ball and socket reducers. Compatible with automatic (column and floor) and manual (floor) transmissions. Without A.I.R. and without EGR.
