Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing high-performance exhaust headers in the USA since 1954. These full-length long-tube 1-5/8 in. ELITE headers (SKU 68308) are designed for the Chevrolet Corvette equipped with a Small Block 283-400 engine, featuring ELITE heavy-duty construction ideal for high-performance applications. The heavy-duty 3/8 in. flanges and 14-gauge primary tubes provide enhanced resistance to high exhaust temperatures. The MATTE SILVER ceramic-metallic coating resists corrosion, retains heat in the tubes, and reduces underhood temperatures (up to 1400°F, 5-year factory warranty). CNC mandrel-bent smooth-flowing tubes, hand-welded for perfect consistency. The gasketless ball and socket collector design allows bolt-on installation. Each set includes gaskets, bolts, and ball and socket reducers. Without A.I.R. and without EGR.
