Description

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing high-performance exhaust headers in the USA since 1954. These full-length long-tube 1-1/2 in. HTC Silver headers (SKU 68316) are designed for 1978-1987 GM A-Body and G-Body vehicles equipped with a Chevrolet Small Block 283-400 (Gen 1) engine, including Buick Regal, Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, and Pontiac Grand Prix. Built from mild steel with smooth-flowing CNC mandrel-bent tubes, hand-welded for consistency, they optimize exhaust scavenging to maximize horsepower and torque. The high-temperature polished HTC Silver ceramic-metallic coating resists corrosion and withstands up to 1400°F (5-year factory warranty). The gasketless ball and socket collector design allows bolt-on installation. Comes with all gaskets, bolts, and ball and socket reducers. Note: rotary A/C bracket modification required. Chevrolet engines only.
