Description

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing high-performance exhaust headers in the USA since 1954. These full-length long-tube 1-1/2 in. EO headers (SKU 68317) are ARB-certified (EO# D167-33 – 50 state legal) and designed for 1978-1987 GM G-Body vehicles equipped with a Chevrolet Small Block 283-400 (Gen 1) engine. Built from mild steel with smooth-flowing CNC mandrel-bent tubes, hand-welded for consistency, they maximize horsepower and torque. The gasketless ball and socket collector design allows bolt-on installation. Ships uncoated with a temporary black paint. Notes: may need to remove Z bars (SS Series); rotary A/C bracket modification required. Chevrolet engines only. Without A.I.R. and without EGR.
