Description

The Hedman 69536 headers are mid-length exhaust headers with HTC polished silver ceramic-metallic coating, uniquely designed to provide additional spark plug clearance when installing a Small Block Chevy 283-400 (Gen 1) with angle plug heads (GM L98 aluminum heads or equivalent) into 2WD Chevy S10/Blazer and GMC S15/Jimmy trucks. The mid-length design with 1-1/2 in. tubes and 2-1/2 in. ball and socket collector delivers more low and mid-range power than factory cast manifolds while maintaining better ground clearance than long-tube headers. The HTC polished silver coating resists corrosion up to 1,400°F. Compatible with power steering and automatic or manual (floor) transmissions. Trans-Dapt #9906 recommended. Handcrafted in the USA since 1954.
