The BBK Performance shorty headers (SKU 40080) are direct bolt-on replacements for the Ford Mustang Base V6 3.8L/3.9L New Edge. Built from 16-gauge mild steel with 1-5/8 in. CNC mandrel bent tubing, they improve exhaust flow, horsepower, torque, and fuel economy over factory manifolds. Features a 3/8 in. laser-cut flange, precision robotic welding, and pressure testing. Polished silver ceramic finish. CARB approved EO D-245-16 (50 states). Recommended add-on parts: BBK 4008/1552/1652/1719/17195/2527. Includes new gaskets and hardware.
