Description

The BD Diesel exhaust manifold (P/N 1041401) passenger side is designed for Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC and Hummer trucks and SUVs equipped with LS-based V8 engines. This upgraded manifold addresses common OEM exhaust manifold bolt failures by incorporating extended fasteners and spacers that effectively withstand thermal expansion. Made from high-silicon ductile iron, it features a uniform increased wall thickness to reduce stress risers and prevent cracking. Bolt mating surfaces are precision-machined for a secure bolted joint. Adjusted heat shield mounting locations are also integrated. The kit includes all new bolts, spacers and gaskets required for installation.
