The PTP Turbo Blankets Starter Heat Shield (part# FPRO35-037-01) protects the starter motor from under-hood heat soak, helping avoid a costly replacement. Constructed with a mylar reflective aluminized barrier combined with fiberglass insulation, it tolerates up to 2,000°F of radiant heat. Hook-and-loop fastener allows quick, tool-free installation. Also applicable on master cylinders, distributors, and other heat-sensitive components. Size: 7" x 24", can be easily trimmed to fit. Universal application.
