Description

The PTP Lava Inlet Pipe Blanket (FPRO35-145-01) is specifically designed for the Honda Civic Type R FK8. It insulates the turbocharger inlet pipe, reduces turbo lag, lowers intake air temperatures, and protects under-hood components (up to 60% heat reduction). By retaining exhaust gas heat on the hot side, turbocharger efficiency improves and more oxygen reaches the engine.

Constructed with a silicone-impregnated fiberglass outer layer (600°F direct / 1,100°F radiant), internally insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (1,832°F continuous / 2,300°F peak), overlaid with a high-temperature stainless steel mesh. Hand-crafted in North America.
