Description

The PTP Lava Downpipe Elbow Blanket (FPRO35-180-01) is specifically designed for the Honda Civic FK8 Type-R. It insulates the downpipe elbow, retains exhaust gas heat to optimize flow, and protects adjacent under-hood components. It helps reduce ambient temperatures and extends the life of surrounding parts.

Constructed with a silicone-impregnated fiberglass outer layer (600°F direct / 1,100°F radiant), internally insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (1,832°F continuous / 2,300°F peak), overlaid with a high-temperature stainless steel mesh. Hand-crafted in North America.
