MSD Coil-On-Plug Modular Ignition Coil Set (ref. 82438) is designed as a direct replacement for Ford SOHC Modular Motors with 3-valve heads (4.6L/5.4L). The housing and installation are identical to factory; inside, improved winding materials and patented dual magnet technology deliver higher voltage and spark energy. The coil-on-plug design puts spark energy directly at the plug gap to improve combustion and engine output. Compatible with Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. Bolt-on installation directly to factory connectors.
