Mishimoto – Ignition Coil
Description
The Mishimoto MMIG-FOST-12 ignition coil is designed for Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with L4 2.0L and 2.3T EcoBoost engines. Before cranking up boost, it is essential to ensure the ignition system is in perfect condition. Weak spark causes misfires under high load and reduces performance. The robust phenolic resin frame ensures optimal longevity in high-temperature environments, while the precision lower boot protects against moisture and spark plug contamination. Pre-lubricated with dielectric grease, this coil ensures an optimal connection and corrosion resistance. Designed to meet or exceed OEM Ford standards, it improves startup, idle smoothness, and restores performance.
