Description

The BBK Performance phenolic intake manifold spacer kit #1506 is designed for Ford Mustang V8 4.9L and 5.8L equipped with Ford 302/351W GT40/Cobra EFI intake manifolds. Each spacer is CNC machined from 3/8 in. thick phenolic material. By placing this spacer between the lower and upper intake manifolds, heat transfer is reduced, lowering air intake temperatures. Cooler, denser air results in measurable power gains and the ability to advance ignition timing with less risk of detonation. This kit is also a popular way to increase manifold-to-valve cover clearance to accommodate taller valve cover designs. Made in the USA. Includes all necessary gaskets, bolts, and hardware.
