BBK Performance – Phenolic Spacer Factory OE Intake Manifold

Description

The BBK Performance phenolic spacer kit (SKU 1508) is CNC machined from lightweight 3/8 in. phenolic composite material. It installs between the upper and lower intake manifolds on the Ford Mustang GT/LX V8 4.9L to reduce heat transfer into the air intake, producing lower intake temperatures and increased air density. This results in a horsepower gain and the ability to advance timing with less detonation. Also used to raise intake height for aftermarket valve cover clearance. Upper and lower gaskets and longer bolts included. Compatible with all SBF Ford 302/351W stock intake manifolds.
