The Mishimoto Performance Turbo Intercooler Kit for the Honda Civic Type R is engineered to maximize the cooling capabilities of the K20C1 2.0T engine. The 4.7-inch thick 6061 aluminum core delivers a 169% increase in overall volume and a 189% boost in external fin surface area for optimal heat rejection. Cast aluminum end tanks replace the factory plastic units for improved airflow management. This kit includes 2.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping with a Wrinkle Red finish, replacing the factory restrictive rubber sections. Outlet air temperatures drop by up to 50°F on stock tuning. Bolt-on installation with no modifications required.
