Description

The Ford Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost deserves a cooling system as capable as the truck itself. Mishimoto developed this intercooler kit featuring a bar-and-plate intercooler TIG-welded to durable cast-aluminum end tanks, paired with mandrel-bent aluminum pipes with a polished finish. The core delivers 46% more volume and 49% more fin surface area than stock, with 24% less restriction. The pipes eliminate factory restrictive bends for up to 25% better flow and a 19.86% volume increase. Dyno-proven gains of 13.6 whp and 13.9 lb-ft of torque are achieved while maintaining less pressure drop than the stock intercooler. The kit includes DuraCore™ silicone boots, high-torque worm gear clamps, and CNC-machined quick-disconnect fittings. Bungs on the end tank and cold-side pipe can be drilled and tapped for a boost sensor or water-meth injection. Bolt-on installation.
