Description

The Mishimoto performance intercooler kit for the Ford Focus RS 2.3L includes a direct-fit bar-and-plate intercooler and a performance piping kit. The core delivers +36% internal volume and +214% external fin surface area over stock, reducing air outlet temperature by 40% and producing +7 whp and +8 lb-ft of torque on a stock tune. The kit also includes replacement piping: the custom hot-side pipe features +40% internal volume and is specifically shaped to direct airflow over the stock PTU cooler. The 5-layer wire-reinforced silicone cold-side pipe offers +31% internal volume for improved flow and turbocharger longevity. The intercooler is available in silver or black. No modification required. Bolt-on installation.
