The PRL Motorsports Billet Intercooler Upgrade for the Honda Civic Type R FK8 (part# PRL-HCR-IC-BLK) reduces charge air temperatures with a dense 26.5 x 3.5 x 7.25" bar-and-plate core rated at 550+ HP, delivering +85% surface area and +83% internal flow over OEM. Billet machined aluminum end tanks use factory mounting points and retain all factory air ducts/shrouds — no cutting or trimming required. Advertised gains: +3 HP and +11 ft/lb torque bolt-on, average 32°F drop in post-charge air temperature. No tune required. Compatible with Honda Civic Type R FK8 2.0T (See Application Section).
